MANON OUIMET is a London-based photographer. In 2019 she received a distinction for an MA in Photography at University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE, Bristol), and her work has been published and exhibited internationally. Ouimet’s passion for the human form is multi-disciplinary and explored via a wide range of contexts including fashion, portraiture, beauty, documentary and fine art. Using photography in a cathartic manner, her approach is essentially humanist and aims to change our perception of beauty - the photograph used as the 'therapeutic gaze'. Ouimet is currently working on an ongoing collaboration with The Drive Project and Deloitte, which is designed to aid veterans back into the working community using various platforms.

In 2018, Ouimet was nominated for the International Photography Award for her project Altered. In 2019, Ouimet was shortlisted for BJP Portrait of Humanity for her portrait of Dan “The One-Armed Wonder”. In addition, Ouimet was awarded three certificates of achievement; Gold in Fine Art/Nudes, Gold in Fine Art/People, 2nd Place Winner in Fine Art at the Prix de Photographie - PX3 2019 for Altered as a series. Furthermore, Ouimet has been shortlisted for the RPS International Photography Exhibition 162.

Additionally, with her creative partner she has recently launched Manon et Jacob, a filmmaking and photographic collaborative duo.
