OUT OF MY MOTHER

A digital composite formed from a series of images I took of my mother and self-portraits. This particular piece achieves an exploration of two adult bodies – one that produced the other – a mother and a daughter. Using comparison as a tool to better understand what makes one different. A journey through the ageing eyes and comparison of one another. The physiological of being a woman in time. This piece looks at the foundation of the physical form.
